There is no doubt that it stinks that the SAW isn’t doing as well, but that is the competitive nature of the semiconductor industry. I have seen managers do everything they can to keep people, they care but have to make hard decisions. The FL fab is under new leadership and will hopefully re-emerge with great success.

Florida is not shutting down. They are cutting opperators and temp workers while they get things set in motion for the new movement into there new work with saw in late 2018 early 2019. Even if they don’t have a buyer yet, the NC fab is closing doors unfortunately and any future saw work will go to Apopka in the future. It s---s for all of those involved in the situation but all you can do is hope for the best for them on there next journey. You can’t blame anyone person these things happen in this business.

Blame can be placed at many levels. It all comes down tonthe corporate culture. You can't treat people with a lack of respect and not have it becone previiant in all aspects of a companys business dealings. The failure lies deeper within network communications than anyone realizes. Good luck to those that were never a part of those things that cannot be spoken.
I don't understand how come Texas fab is the winner knowing that we have absolutely no work in BaW and we have two empty fabs in Dallas.
