The leaving part is credible and known to those who went to mwc. I dont believe the fight part, i happen to know indirectly both CA and RT as i have worked for both of them and fighting isnt their style of working out differences.

Just see - 5G is another gig by qualcomm.
When 2.5 started there were handful companies, 3g CDMA/is95 help qualcomm to be where it is now. That was a killer App.
Simply put - 3g, becomes 4g becomes 5g becomes 6g i.e [n++]G is what they are good at doing after n=3.
Situation is different now, we have tons of players in the business now. ASP only going to go down, cell phone cycle is tapering. Don't see much money flowing in just because of 5G. Money will flow due to other yet to be found killer app. Qualcomm should focus on that app. AI/VR, IOT , automotive is all good BS but is a catch up game with plenty of competition. Cant go with attitude that was adoptoed during 3G days.
