When will these governments wake the hell up and realize they s--- at building large, complex systems? Payroll is relatively simple and there are large companies out there who can take on the task with minimal pain and cost compared to building an in-house solution.
Why dont they sue IBM? That would be hilarious..
Canada should have researched IBM. Just check with Indiana --- Australia --- Texas among many others for big time contracts gone to hell but benefiting the pockets of Queen Ginny and her Merry Men. But the aura of classic IBM still lingers. Nobody got fired for hiring IBM so the old saying went but thousands of Canadian government workers don't get paid. When the is the world going to learn not to trust Big Blue!!!
