If lay offs are planned for 3/13, why the open house? Who in their right mind would come to open house after lay offs?

If the layoffs dont happen (and they probably wont) there is a good chance it is because of this thread. The elt has been following these threads and talking about them in all hands. They are aware of the rumors. Or do you think it is a coincidence that citrix is having an open house on the same day as the rumored layoff date?
The timeline may have shifted but the strategy remains the same. More jobs are going overseas, teams are being downsized, product lines are getting end of lifed, and management is not telling us the full story.
I don’t think there is any layoff happening. It’s all propaganda by some sick mind in this anonymous forum. Though I too heard the rumor that low performers would be shown the door on an regular basis than in the past.
BUT I thought this was an anonymous site with no credibility because the posters are all anonymous.
Citrix management has provided credibility to the posters at this site by holding a March 13'th open house.
Well leadership is aware if this site and the rumors. So what better way to convince everyone that everything is normal and that they love Raleigh than by throwing a party for people who don't even work at Citrix?
Because there are no layoffs planned and it is the biggest troll thread.
