Now I realize why the Sidney DC is the most inefficient DC in the country. Look at the damn fool they have as one of the managers. Instead of working he's sitting on his computer all day reading this board. 30 years of working in that hell hole has destroyed his ability to form coherent thoughts or use the English language.

To the poster of this statement did you work at the distribution center and moved onto corporate where you were laid off or fired?
I have been very impressed with bass pro on how this company has handled the merger with Cabelas. I have been in agreement with the mayor of Sidney and the owner of bass pro in regard to how sevance pay or other financial arrangements should be handled. The city of Sidney have had some tough days the last three years. However I really believe if we all work together together and make the tough decisions necessary this situation will turn around. I as a resident think the policy at city hall should be to cut back on spending as much as we can. I also think we should try to set policy to enable us to keep as many city employee as the city can during these tough times should be a top priority. I care about the employees of bass pro. I care about the residents of Sidney Nebraska. When possible I would like to do what I can to be of assistance in their well being.
