Some areas of the building are a mess with old monitors and chairs just dumped in the corners. There is a process for having them picked up but most people don't bother. Some floors are very tidy, others not so much. Fl 3 with all the merchant samples does look like a yard sale is going on. When you bring in vendors you want them to give you their business so if the place looks like a dump then what does that say about the company as a whole?
There was a notice sent out that there will be a building wide clean up day.
Everyone heard this anecdote. Our SVP asked us to remove family photos / decorations just in case.
They had a walk through the common spaces this week.
Just one of MANY inappropriate actions I've heard about so far by this guy. He's only been here a few months!

Anyone calling anyone's family ugly should be ashamed of themselves. Not everyone is born with your fn perfection. Seriously, grow the F up.

They took down all the signs w the 'inspirational' quotes In the hallways. Also emptied out teams from 4th floor and consolidated them on 3E.

if you want to decorate do it within your own homes. pictures, souvenirs or trinkets serve no purpose in the workplace. what if you were sitting at a different hotel station every day?

HOW ugly the family is isn't relevant! I can confirm that our group has also been asked to clean up. We're told that there will be a walk through in Monday at 5 pm. Not sure if it's sycamore partners or a potential buyer
What you don't know is that the family is ugly as sh--. The whole floor complained about being nauseated each time they walked by the cube. Stop only telling half the story!!

I also heard this. Apparently he went back and apologized to the associate. He even admitted he was out of line. But shows you what kind of person he is to think that was an ok thing to say

It makes it much easier to hand out terminations. No attention to be called out to a family they will effect. Makes perfect sense. Employees are simply numbers with no human connections outside of the staples nightmare. No such thing as work/family balance. This move is completely disgusting. I can’t leave this sh-t soon enough.
