Okay, I keep reading that a bunch of managers were let go from a bunch of stores on Friday and I'm wondering how our store managed to avoid it.
Anybody knows what was the criteria for layoffs? We certainly have a manger or two that is completely useless, so why they got spared is beyond me.
On Friday there was 9 people in management that got let go at my store
Not sure what store you are at but if you had a marketing manager they were let go. If you had an ap manager (not ap sr specialist) they were let go. If you had an expertise trainer they were let go (though not a manager). All other positions were eliminated as well like senior positions and sale coach but some people were retained and put in the new gsm structure.
*only Hammond, tulalip and kc retained an ap manager
