I heard some rumors the consulting division of dell/emc would be spin-off in a separate company.
Allowing for ipo and/or sell-off if the numbers aren't good.
Anyone heard the same?

No way they could spin out the consulting division. Plus, if it's not doing well who would buy it. Who would go to Dell or any manufacturer for true consulting?
anything is possible now. you should understand that Dell EMC is now in a highly volatile situation. The journey from is now only downwards. It needs to be seen how this downward slide will unfold. Old boys club in Hopkinton are trying all ways to save their asses by cooking up new projects like cyclone. These are all eyewash and only last till Dell realizes the game and start chopping.
