Thread regarding Marietta Memorial Hospital layoffs

there is not enough skill or knowledge on the Hospital Board to turn this place around...the hospital business is complicated and know-how is the answer. Local folks who run tiny businesses or hold full time jobs are not skilled hospital leaders. The current Board is made up of good humans, but not skilled leaders. There have been other Marietta area businesses that have failed due to not-so-smart leaders...look at Fenton Glass, look at Marietta College. Fenton is gone, gone, gone, and MC is suffering from a lousy liberal Board and two failed Presidents. The new Pres is smart, bright and rocks..all will be ok.
