Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Laying off older employees to replace them with cheaper ones

Is it just me, or are the majority of those laid off today in higher age bracket? Mostly in their forties or fifties?

It looks like Enbridge is getting rid of its older workers to replace them with younger ones with no experience but who are willing to work for much less money.

I'm just wondering how that'll work out for the company in the long run...

Gotta make sure they push people out the door before they can collect on the pensions...Absolute crookery from a crooked company.

That's how it has been during all of the last layoffs as well. The older ones get cut, younger ones and those that don't work get to keep a job.
