Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Stock price is on the decline since Oct 2016

  • High regulatory constraints

  • Higher debt level than its peers

  • Interest rates are rising

  • Spectra acquisition through stock dilution

Enbridge is certainly a good place to work but they will try to cut down on cost which means that you can't expect much from them. It's your responsibility to look for yourself and your family.

You can’t spell FAIL without AL.

But he will walk away with a boatload of cash, just like Ebel did. What did you get from these two?

I hope the board sees what’s going here on with employees, takes a good look at the 3 year stock chart, looks at our massively bloated balance sheet and asks themselves WHAT HAS AL MONACO REALLY DONE FOR US DURING HIS TIME AS CEO?!

Oh, he increased the dividend several times. But that’s at the expense of everything mentioned above. Less people, more new shares and dilution, and more debt leads to higher dividends. A+ for your short sightedness captain!
