Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Layoffs won’t solve the Problems at Juniper

There is no layoff big enough to solve the issues faced by Juniper... inside and outside the company.

Internally, there is no cohesion between the business groups. They all act as through they are in a seperate company. Routing is arrogant. Switching is clueless. Security is a bit of both. Contrail doesn't care what they are, because they behave like their sh!t doesn't stink.

Outside, Juniper faces the siffest competition it has ever faced. They are not prepared to build solutions for their customers now with requirements that keep changing. Customers know talk is cheap, and competitors have set the pace with many innovations and technologies that Juniper only talks about.

Juniper has played games with financial reporting, quarter after quarter. When this is exposed, someone will be going to jail. Borrowing money from suppliers, and shifting revenues and expenses has gone on forever. How they pull this off is puzzling.

This quarter, Tax laws were blamed. Nice try Rami. Revenues went down 11% and you blame taxes? Trump will love to hear that, as well as the contributions to the unemployment stats you contributed to.

As expected, after-hours trading shows JNPR is down, -6.1%. How low can you go?
