Update. Just heard of confirmed layoffs last week of March / first week of April.

This question speaks to why things are the way they are. Clearly you have no idea what brings in the most revenue. Hint: It was 2 letters and now is 3.

SP has a plan, they just choose not to "give direction". how much more of a clue do you need?

The call was good on Monday but there was definitely a lack of vision and very little about next steps or what direction we are going?

there won’t be any more layoffs???!!! are you kidding me??? Layoffs have been a normal course of business at Staples every year. NOW - they will happen more frequent and more deep. Wake up.

SP didn't invest umpti-billion dollars to earn a 5% return.

Don't worry. I am still there. I don't like omelets or plaid shirts but I am pretty great still. Very impressive.

Yeah , some of the posts are nonsense. I am pretty sure there won’t be any more layoffs . SP are smart people. They get it , they understand that to run a great business you need great people.

C&E = Contract and Enterprise (big customers)

MM = Mid market

All of those abbreviated thoughts on things moving forward. I'm glad this is now all cleared up. Where did you get the big brains to understand so much! We are thankful.

How can you confirm anything. Do you work at SP? Only they know the plans.

Wouldn't doubt it. I can confirm C&E is safe for now, more than likely next few years. Can't layoff all revenue producers and expect to have a leg to stand on. I think its actually better for employees to have the different LOB's sold off. Have people to come in and care.
