CVS stands to benefit by 2 billion by the new tax cuts. Will CVS be giving out bonuses like other companies are doing or will that all go to Larry Merlo? Asking for a friend.

CVS Caremark has the largest disparity between top executive pay and typical Store employees. This is old news from a couple years ago. Not something that CVS is proud of. The big issue now is the number of RpH's and technicians on duty. It's called RPH, Tech ratio. Many states require 1 Pharmacist for every 3 or 4 Tech's. CVS gets around this by using Front Cashiers to work the Pharmacy checkouts. Those folks don't count in the calculations. ( My Schedule ) BOGUS!
These laws are there to help prevent prescription errors. Companies like CVS should not be trying to work around these laws.
Paying Tech's 9.00 per hour is insane. Wonder why the turnover rate is the highest in the industry? Chasing Wall Street earnings per share estimates make it challenging to sometimes do the right things Layoffs, rates, staff, executive pay, ect.
Not the Public Relations Department, they are doing an awesome job making this two faced piece of garbage company look good.
Where will the 400-500 cuts come from?
Despite these tax savings, 2018 payouts for 2017 performance will be below last year’s level. Additionally there will be more layoffs in the April/May timeframe. Look for an extra 400-500 cuts.
Lol, if you have to ask, you already know .
Not that i dont trust merlo, but Hopefully American heart association is getting most of the donation money.
Wheres this active tab you keep talking about?
Please go to the active tab and check out how Orlando DC is doing
No toppings on the pizzas, as Larry made a deal with Papa John's!
I am hearing the language for a formal announcement is being worked on...this year every store will be allowed TWO pizza parties! They are crunching the numbers as we speak. The delay is a discussion of whether toppings should be included.
option b my Lord! Everyone's biding their time until those bonuses get cut then taking off.
The next town hall is on 2/8, you can ask Larry then.
Federal Express just announced, as part of over 264 companies so far under the Trump tax cut, that they would be providing over 268 billion in pension, employee bonuses, and stock options.
With that said, CVS has approx. 250 K employees, and Federal Express has approx 220 K employees.
Who stands to benefit, certainly not the poor CVS employees.
I would say.....wait until April, and watch a mass exodus from CVS.
I’ll go with option B.
