Thread regarding Kmart layoffs

One more store closing

This time it is the Cambridge Kmart in Ohio. All the people from the store will be gone by April 8.

Stores are falling like dominoes lately. I wonder how long before there is nothing left to fall...

Oregon is down to 5 Kmart locations. Absolutely crazy.

I didn't know that. Prior to 2003, there were 5 Kmarts in Alaska. Thanks!

Kmart actually did have a presence in Alaska, but it's been some time. They closed all of them in 2003.

Rhode Island just lost its last Kmart. Alaska never had any.

Hell I'm pretty sure there are states with NO Kmarts in them at this point.

There are only 1-4 in many states!

That number will be zero before too long.

Hard to believe there are exactly 13 Kmarts left in Ohio, after this latest round.

When I moved to Cincinnati in May 1999 there were around 120, I believe.
