Thread regarding Sungard Availability Services layoffs

Oh how the mighty have fallen, "Me Too"

And one more thing to add to the mix. Sungard AS has gotten rid of a lot of women in recent years. Debrief chats with many of them revealed some type of s-xual harassment and discrimination. There is a large possibility of a class action law suit looming large on the horizon. I wonder how they even survive that. I for one, could comment "Me too" on my experience at Sungard AS. Anyone else?

So...Just seeing this. Nothing happened to me, BUT, I KNOW of 2 incidents with 2 of my friends. One Sr. VP was fired because of an incident and one Sr. VP was not. Not going to get into details, because, it is not my story. But I am sure of the incidents based on who they happened to and integrity of those women. It is interesting that there are 2 comments that sound skeptical. Isn't that why women often keep these things to themselves?

I also experienced an incident with someone I reported to. I talked to HR and actually consulted an attorney. In the end, I decided life was too short and better just to move on.

Calling BS on author of original post. Not sure what company you are, or were, working for but Sungard is full of women at many important and influential leadership and management positions including CFO, CMO, CIO plus countless VPs, directors, managers so if an environment of s-xual harassment and discrimination exists at Sungard then they are complicit in it

Difficult to argue that toxic masculinity pervades Sungard management culture when possibly the least masculine guy on the planet runs the place
