Thread regarding VMware Inc. layoffs

More coming

So much for Trump tax breaks. All Horizon dev and QE will be in Bangalore by end of 2018. Fast, cheap and sloppy is the mind set. Retaining customers is not a priority.

AK, current rate between 3-5% per new hire, un-taxed income transferred to US via Bitcoins not explain your observations?

Fail to understand the strategy.

They layoff folks on one hand and on the other convert the temporary / contractors into full time employees. And also outsource a tonne of work to other smaller firms in Pune & Gurgaon in India

This is what has been happening in CPSBU / vCAV / VCD org

There are contracting companies working on vRBC in Bangalore. View is adopting the same. QE team is presented as poor performers for View and they will be laid off in July and contracting companies hired. I have been hearing the lots about the ruthless VP of Horizon and his shouting at employees. He should be nominated for reverse EPIC2 award

Same is true for Horizon. Critical quality-related recalls under current engineering VP. In case of Horizon poor planning and unreasonable demands on QE teams by "The Ruthless" VP of Horizon has caused serious quality degradation. He continues to be the darling of upper EUC execs even though he is directly responsible. His big bonus should be docked instead QE teams are blamed.
