Vacation Requests

Any other ATS Depot making up vacation request rules? Apparently we can't request time off anymore than 30-60 days before. I'm not talking just weekends. I'm talking anyway of the week. Also if you got off a holiday last year, your not getting it this year. Before someone starts their union chants, I could careless. I'm just curious if any other depot is making the rules up as they go along.

"Whenever possible, notify your supervisor/manager in advance of requesting personal, sick or vacation time, unless it is an emergency situation where advance notice cannot be given. In emergency situations, you must obtain approval from your supervisor/manager as soon as practicable. If your department has outlined specific notice, scheduling and/or call-out procedures based on business needs, always comply with those requirements."
