50 Cent is taking the carriage dispute between Starz and Altice to the streets — literally.
The executive producer of Starz hit “Power” recently found himself idling in his Bentley behind an Optimum service truck.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, makes the connection that the truck’s owner is “f—ing with my series” — a reference to Altice’s yanking “Power,” along with the rest of Starz’s lineup, from the cable’s company’s bundle on Jan. 1.
“I should run right in the back of this mother f—er,” he says, pulling his Bentley menacingly close to the stopped service truck.
When the truck starts moving forward, 50 Cent announces to his in-car camera, “I’m going to follow this mother f—er.”
50 Cent, who also stars in “Power,” has reason to be upset about the series being denied Altice’s near 5 million customers as the content provider and cable company persist in an impasse over cable retransmission fees.
It’s Starz’s most-watched franchise, after all, having averaged 9.3 million viewers per episode last season.
But is the Queens native, whose “Get Rich or Die Tryin’ ” album peaked at No. 1 in the US Billboard 200 in 2003, using appropriate negotiating tactics?
“This behavior is reprehensible and should not be tolerated,” an Altice spokeswoman said when asked about a video of the incident, which 50 Cent posted on Instagram. “It is outrageous that a commercial dispute has led to the threat of violence against our employees.”

Let me tell you something. My desk is a van. I Work day and night in the cold and rain just like everyone else. I am happy that you think that this thug is funny. I look at it like he is a man who admitted to to stalking a fellow tech. Not funny in my book, knowing his past. My original point was, if he is unhappy about the negotiations and he is a great business man as he claims to be. Why not try and help Starz negotiate the contract with Altice.
His name is 50 cent I am pretty sure he cares about his money, he was not harassing the tech he was behind him and inched closer the tech most likely was not aware of what was going on. It was meant to be funny. This maybe is not your type of of humor, I seriously doubt if you have one anyway. Go back and sit behind your desk and figure out how to f--- the employees and the customers some more.

Aka Ferrari, I have to disagree with you there. It is pretty obvious that Mr Jackson is more concerned about his money that the fact that the show is not in His hometown. Why would you want to harass a worker, who has nothing to do with the negotiations. Instead of acting like a child, he should man up and try and help with the negotiations. I for one believe, he is not intelligent enough to handle the negotiations.
Who’s behavior is reprehensible a movie star trying to get his show back on,in his hometown, or a company that has destroyed many employees lives and helped charter do the same, I beg to differ. Get em 50

Dear Supervisor:
I choose not to go out into the field today for fear of my safety. Although he may be a rap star & business mogul, he is still a ruthless thug from the streets of Jamaica, Queens and has shown that he is certainly a dangerous menace to all Altice employees. I respectfully request that all field operations be suspended until Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) is arrested or otherwise dealt with.
