For those not in Santa Clara, we all are aware that we are consolidating to one building so it would make sense that the other building would be sold or leased out.
heard a rumor that Taco Bell Cantina is buying up all the Citrix owned properties to turn them into party siesta halls, does anyone else have confirmation on this?
LOL. NOT IN THIS LIFETIME.
Citrix never owned these building in Santa Clara, this this is a bunk story....
accounting tricks, trading cap-ex (ownership) for op-ex (lease).
But, it tells lot more. It's like sale your house and move to rental
instead thinking of buying bigger house;
and what you do with that money: More layoffs? Stock buyback?
Executive bonuses? Step toward closing?
I'm not sure this is bad news; Citrix doesn't own the Raleigh building outright even though it was basically built-to-spec. Search online for JMC Holdings, the owner of that bldg, to verify. Santa Clara's sale could just be accounting tricks, trading cap-ex (ownership) for op-ex (lease).
Instead of closing off, I'm assuming Citrix will lease instead of owning the building for the good of people left.
Can you tell me the building # which you are referring to .
It is shocking to see the real estate sale updates. Don’t know what will happen next
Did not believe this post at first but found the sold listing towards the end of the results .
This is an oh crxp moment for Santa Clara
Layoffs are coming there obviously
