They tried to package and sell the company to Microsoft by bringing in KT and his gang. Microsoft decided to go a different direction and KT could not convince them to buy Citrix, so they fired him and paid out his $32 million in severance.
Turns out they did not need a Microsoft aligned CEO, they already have a CEO in DH ready to sell CItrix to the next bidder . Cisco is not interested, CA is not interested but SAP might be interested.
So the current strategy is to bring everyone formerly from SAP management to package the company for sale to SAP. we have MF, TM, MS, and many others already working on the packaging.
The new ELT is mostly SAP now, and its only a matter of time before they make overtures to SAP to buy CItrix. Get ready for another wild acquisition attempt roller coaster ride for Citrix, its going to get very messy...
