Watch out for Susan Lynch, the CFO. She has a reputation of cutting way past the bone to make her bonus larger. Look at all the ridiculous, demoralizing cuts that have happened under her watch, like reduced cell phone and home internet. Reducing Club participation so substantially, it has become irrelevant. It is not whining, it is realizing the principle of organizations as frog farms. We need to jump out of the water before it starts boiling and we can no longer jump. Let Susan Lynch and Andy Stern deal with the pissed off customer base.
Does anyone have a list of teams that were RIF'd on Friday? Anyone have any knowledge of who or what teams might be next?
As opposed to companies I've worked for before who were transparent about layoffs, Stern and friends will never communicate the who or why of RIFs. The only way to find out who is no longer around is to follow up on emails with team leads as the NAB isn't even purged of those who are let go.
Friday was a very disappointing day. While the core Sungard offerings remain relevant, it appears that management does not understand how to run a company well enough to grow those offerings. How do they remain positive and focused on growth when everyone is constantly looking over their shoulder wondering where the next round of layoffs is coming from? Best of luck to all of us that were let go on Friday. Great booming economy, I am sure we will all find places that value our skills and experience.
I think we can all guess where Ranger2018 is from by the poor English grammar and spelling skills. This is EXACTLY why SgAS is headed for extinction! This is EXACTLY what SgAS customers experience when they call our help desk. Andy Stern feels SgAS customers are no longer worth being supported by people who speak English coherently, as shown by Ranger2018's comments.

Today this 'new Team' fired hundreds of years of experienced, dedicated, and successful employees. I have shoes older than you' Ranger 2018'.
