Heard from a source today that they potentially laid off enough @ Framingham to move us all to one side of the building, then they’ll lease the other side. Anyone else hear this?

Don't believe ANYTHING they tell you. LIsten carefully and read between the lines...that's the best you'all get out of it until the ax is dropped...again and again.
Nope
Anyone hearing of more to come?
The Colorado building at 1 Environmental Way in Broomfield was sold last year to Flatirons Credit Union. Staples Colorado "HQ" now leases space in Westminster. Do yourself a favor and look into the length of the lease if you want insight.
That they were going to sell and lease back is exactly what they told Broomfield a year or two ago.
Agree. That's a lie for sure. But yes though the bldg is for sale, with part lease back 1/2 the space. That is indeed true. But the bldg is not sold yet.
”Building has already been sold. Finalized in the ;last couple weeks I think. Staples now leases it”
What motivates you to come on this board and blatantly lie? How does doing this benefit you?
Funny that you think what a VP says means anything. Hate to tell you but Sycamore does not need to tell anyone internally anything.... especially not a VP. Added layer to the organization - VPs are more like directors now.

If you still believe what senior leadership is telling you, then I feel bad for you son. You'd think you would have learned by now... smh
The VP wasn't communicating a decision he made. He was passing on information that had been given to him.
There are enough real changes going on. No need to try to perpetuate BS rumors.
I think Sycamore is incharge not the VP
Our VP addressed this rumor directly and said there was absolutely no truth to it. Not selling the building or leasing part of it.
Doubt it. They’re cutting operating costs. Odds are they’re cutting out almost all satellite locations, and replacing those positions with either work at homes or offshore.
yeah, to India.
I’ve heard sell the building and moving somewhere else.
I heard sell the building entirely after more layoffs occur. Sharing a building doesn’t work well... i.e Colorado.
Doubtful. People were already doubled up in areas and it was about 300 people est from HO laid off but no one knows for sure. Our building last I knew was almost 2500 employees.
Would that mean that we would have to share Chef Louie’s with non-Staples employees? That’s what I’m really concerned about....
