What’s with lack of leadership at Valassis? We have people who supposedly hold the position but seem to be afraid to step up to the task, not to mention take accountability.
In my two years here I’ve repeatedly tried to give feedback but most of the time it seems to fall on deaf ears. Maybe it’s because almost always leadership seems to be just as inexperienced as I am. It’s more than obvious that majority of them have no experience heading a team.
Whatever the case, for a team to succeed it needs a leader with strong skill sets and good communication, someone who will really listen to their teams feedback. Valassis certainly lacks that.
