I agree. I was let go after I was covering another position that they refused to refill, stating I was inefficient. After a few weeks of successful interviews, it finally dawned on me how horribly toxic this job was to both my psyche and my health. Good riddance!
Worst job of my career. Culture is horrible. Super political and phony. And it starts at the top.
Maybe you should invest in a grammar book.
