Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

stop whining

Hooley made this company into the top performing company it is today. Instead of whining like little brats you should be thanking him that you still have a job. The outdated employees with no idea what there doing is harder on a ceo to handle then anything else.

One wonders what top performing means. DST is a pile of legacy black boxes no one understands, technical debt that makes it impossible to add features to any product in a timely manner. A work force with short tenure and little to no domain or systems knowledge. Business analyste and Senior manager with Highschool dimplomas.

Clearly this person means 'top performing' in the wall street sense as the stock has been doing well. Management has gutted the company and will continue to do so. It's all been really quite cunning, using IT Transformation and RIFs to entice SS FInancial, Pharmacy, Health. You think you're getting poor service now? Just wait until mid next year.

Hooley took an hour out of his day to work and make a video. This means its just buisness as usually, don't worry. I'm just trying to figure out why everyone always calls me a s---er.

You say we should be thanking him that we still have a job? Well, I don’t. I was laid off in one of the earlier rounds shortly after finishing a major project on time and under budget. Quality doesn’t matter any more. I guess the company doesn’t know how to handle the good ones, either.

Why would they work? Silly common-folk mentality, much to learn you have. The brother's Hooley inherited their crowns through father's golfing buds. Now sit back and count fat stacks, workin's for the birds :D

Never thought Holley would take a moment to stop counting his money and post here!

Holley could have also attempted to actually run the business successfully. I guess it is just easier to pump and dump.

At end of day who will get impacted, that’s matters it can be employee or CEO. Don’t think employees are outdated it won’t take few months to get another good job. It’s just feeling and reaction of employee for loosing a good job as company had layoff history.

Wow! This sounds just like the DST female CIO who is classless, clueless, ignorant and at times seems to be uneducated and is stupid enough to spout off in meetings that long time DST employees are nothing more than baggage. If it is we all can only hope that your golden parachute has a big a-- hole in it and you land in a pile of cow dung.
