It's a new era. Private sector unions are weak. Most technicians hired by cablevision came from nothing. Just a high school diploma others barely speak English. You wonder why union never worked? Don't be mad at the techs who gave up on television. They were likely the ones who fought the most but saw eventually how pointless it was. These days your lucky to just be employed and maintain a sliver of dignity.
