ITC Service Group (“ITC”) , is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician in Oakland , NJ . The Quality Control Technician will perform quality control activities supporting Engineering & Construction teams.
E ntry to Mid Level Position that will provide practical experience working in the Telecommunications industry. In this role, you will collect mapping/routing data and provide QC and verification of information for wireless communication network construction. Review project documentation (RF testing, plant as-built, site install, etc…) for compliance and project impact. Training will be provided. This is a long term project. If you are proficient with a smart phone, and have attention to detail, this is the job for you.
Requirements:
Experience and proficiency with hand held technical devices (smartphone, for example)
Dependable vehicle (you will be compensated for the use of your vehicle)
Valid driver’s license/insurance
Attention to detail
Ability to work outside in all conditions (this is an outside position, with exposure to the elements)
Prior experience in Telecommunications/construction is nice to have, but not required
Educational history in Engineering is nice to have, but not required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Permitting and Quality Control activities in field
Review submitted RF testing documentation to ensure compliance with DOCSIS specifications.
Review submitted plant as-built and site installation information
Provide status updates to Altice USA management personnel
Observe contractors in field as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
