Canadin operations is unionized in the east

I guess the 4% pay cut didn't go over well. 3 years with out a raise then a 4% pay cut. Now the contracting out of operations and maintenance will begin.

In this day and age how does a company let it get to a point with their workforce that after 50ish years of operation they certify a union? Ignore workers, take and take, and aim at being middle of the road with their compensation

This is for liquids pipelines which is pretty much non union across the board.

For Enbridge Gas Distribution all outside construction and maintenance workers ( who are not supervisors ) and a large number of inside clerical workers are all unionized under UNIFOR.
