Is there any update from WV on negotiations? last heard that contract expires saturday unless an extension has been reached. Stay strong and united, unions need a big victory here against a company that says they're union-friendly but has done everything in the last year to bypass, break-up, and ruin the unions (and the company itself in the process).

A small fraction of people are promoted to management due to the incompetence , laziness , piss poor attitude of you LAZY CWA WV TECHS. You aren’t real men, you’re crying pussies and you should come to work everyday with a tampon , pacifier and a diaper. and this is why solidarity is important. A house divided against itself cannot stand......... when unions cant even support another union, implosion will occur. Other states and unions should support WV right now! if their contract is better than yours, good, now you have ammo to fight the company with. seeing the WV teachers union AND cwa on strike would be momentous for the unions, hasnt been a strike of that size and impact in a long while.

The company has thousands of management now. Many who came up from the c/o and field. Will be no big deal to step in and take care of the customers. Something the union only make minor attempts at any way. Management can provide no worse service than the union does. Not that hard to provide better service when the union already has the bar set so low. These guys cant even take a pee without documentation and contract authorization. I will be working the c/o next week ,got my tools loaded and ready. I cant wait i miss the c/o i was ibew so at least we know what we are doing unlike cwa .
Taking up company items is no sign of anything, happens nearly every time you get near a contract deadline. 48hrs is an eternity for a deal to come thru. and I believe Frontier needs a WHOLE lot more than badges, phones, and laptops if they plan to keep WV functional without the union for any period of time. Oh wait, management will be working........LOL, give me a break!
well looks like WV is getting the old b-slap. Company is collecting company owned property such as badges, cell phone laptops etc. This is 2 days ahead of contract expiration!!!
All I can say is welcome to reality WV union . NO job is secure. The company will be better off without the poor attitudes you give on a daily basis. If you think the company doesn't think you will strike WAKE UP. The company has realized your all replaceable and don't care if you strike. They have your replacements ready.
Word is that the good ol’boy system in WV is over. Looks to me like they are on to all your guys tricks and no more job security from what I hear.
Company doesnt seem to think the union has the guts to walk out. If they dont want to meet at the table, then they can meet at the picket line!
Contract expires Saturday at midnight, and the union doesn't want an extension. They was to meet last week from what we have heard apparently the company didn't meet for 2 days and nothing was accomplished. From the way it looks we could possibly be striking.
