When the Brick NJ store closing announcement came, it was due to another company wanting location. Thinking back several months before the landlord an several well dressed suits came in for a stroll around. Right after that repairs on the landlord part started as well as the company. The store was announced as closing an liquider came in,, it was a short close so it proved to be very interesting. So you never know what this company is doing they will get out of its lease anyway it can. So yes many stores are just closing silently an not in a group. The company surely new ahead of time. Oh yes an another key indicator they didn’t replace a. Key position in the store when it was open , example HR so just beware of the signs an best of luck to all that due become affected by being displaced. Your not alone an will get thru this experience.

I heard Tom's River Kmart is closing too? No confirmation though.
Brick Kmart is in a dead mall that has three tenants left including Kmart. Huge grocery store there closed four years ago.
OP here. I didn't put a link because afaik it's not being announced until sometime during the week. But I can confirm it's the Brick Kmart. I don't m ow which California and Maine ones sorry, only know they are based on what the regional AP said.
The NJ Kmart is in Brick New Jersey.
Real or not, source and actual Information would actually be more helpful than the vague “3 more store closed” way of announcing you know something we don’t know type deal that seemingly ruins the credibility and respectability this sometimes helpful website can be! If you’re going on this site in the first place it’s for help and info on a lot of peoples souce of income, so just suggesting a bit more info or don’t even post at all.
