All VCM's. Go in your scheduler. Bring up week 7 and our job code 892. See if you have a schedule in the system like the rest of my colleagues. Something is definitely brewing for optical. Comment what state you are in. Virginia here.

Wisconsin. I’ve heard rumors we are being closed down.
That's great for metro areas but stores in low population areas won't have the people to sustain that type of operation.
VCMs in my area went to a meeting last week. We're told Walmart is going to open wellness centers in the future. They will have drs, vision, dental, etc and that VCM may be going back to salary and will be over vision, hearing and I think something else. I did not personally go but my VCM doesn't know how to keep secrets at all but that also means I'm getting the info second hand. I do trust my VCM though.
HW have any redistricting alignment changes coming?
I've been scouring ever social media site I can find looking for anything concrete on what's happening to Optical. I can't find anyone spilling anything substantial. It's all over the place on what's to come. Why is Health and Wellness so tight lipped...so frustrating! LOL

I have been with WM for 25 yrs. I’ve always been job coded 892 (vision center manager) but there has never been “forecasted” hours like there is now. I too removed the hours because I don’t want dinged since they aren’t hours I’m not going to work. I’m hoping that something starts leaking from the meetings soon.
We have been on customer first since week 20 last year and I never had a schedule until now. So this is something new has nothing to do with so calked new scheduling ...
I took out my schedule as well. Just fishy with all the talk going around and I habe not had a schedule in the system ever since we went hourly and now, all of a sudden, poof one appears......for week 7.

Noticed the same thing. It was like 8:00 to 4:30. Off Sunday and Wednesday. I think it has to do with the new scheduling system. Wouldn’t worry about it. I just think they are trying too account for all hours before rolling out the program. I was able to go in and edit.
