I am over the top confused by APC leadership.
Why are we still pursuing LNG? $20BN Project. The last I saw we just made a $900MM profit in 2 years. So in 20 quarters we can pay for this charade of a project. Very nice Walker.. Very nice.
I have heard up the chain we are paying BG ex-pats room and board, mileage, stipend and ex-pat salaries. Everyone from EVP Ingram on down!!! Please tell me this is not true..............

Profit is mainly a tax benefit for the last quarter. Since oil price is probably going to stay above teh $52 level which was average sell price last quarter we will make 100MM for each extra dollar.
The LNG team is clos securing necessary contracts but that doesn't mean we keep the project. Possible that this will be the best time to sell and move on. A ready to build porject with gas sale contracts. The chance that APC can build and operate LNG facilities successfully (where Chevron went bust for example) is very low.
Hard, but not impossible. Take Big Al for instance. I'll bet to the untrained eye he looks like Clark Gable. He's living proof that turds can be polished.
Hard to polish a turd. APC got greedy and didn’t sell it when they had a chance. Now they are stuck with this loss.

APC seems to be pursuing a 'wait and see' policy on this, waiting for an uptick on gas prices.
However there is a lot of paperwork to sort out, which APC are pursuing.
I don't see too much to criticize in APC's approach to Moz right now
Last I saw, we've been posting multi-billion dollar losses every year since 2014. Not sure how you came to $900MM profit. Must be that Walker math.
