Five more TRU stores closing

New day, new store closing announcement for Toys R Us. In other words, business as usual. This time it's five stores in New York, with nearly 300 people affected.

For those interested, the five closing stores are in College Point, New York City, Queens, Yonkers, and Westbury.

They’re not paying out severance? That’s disturbing.

Saw tonight that TRU may close up to another 200 stores in addition to the 170 in the closing process. It looks like they will liquidate before Sears does: http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/toys-r-us-is-reportedly-closing-another-200-stores-and-laying-off-more-workers/ar-BBJr1jE?ocid=ientp

I just found out yesterday that Rus is NOT giving severance to employees affected by their stores closing....retention bonus is a joke, no transfers. If I didn't need the health insurance for upcoming appointments I'd jump ship now.....
