I work at one of the non core assets to be sold. I understand things are not going very well after the acquisition and debt vs earnings is too high. Unfortunately for Al and friends, many of these assets have been handled by massively incompetent managers over recent years and are now nearly worthless. So much for debt reduction!!
I am done waiting for another round of layoff. I'm out!
Not a bad idea. He certainly couldn’t make things worse than what they already are.
Maybe IPLE guy should take over Public Affairs and Communications function?
It comes across as disingenuous not to include any mention of the enormous toll the acquisition and restructuring have taken on employees, employee morale, systems and safety.
Agree. The narrative doesn’t include any mention of the tremendous costs the company has incurred as a result of the acquisition, painting an untrue picture.
Internal communications is a joke... no transparency.
So what are these lies you are referring to?
In addition to its declining stock price, I have noticed that this company’s communications and transparency have gone straight downhill. Not just the internal communications, which are obviously in the toilet, but the external communications.
The last two quarterly media releases have sounded like, if not outright lies, certainly half truths. Will be interesting to see how they spin the story in the annual report.
Wonder if Al, after he gets fired from Enbridge, will go on to ruin other companies. He could, for example, sit on the board of another company and oversee its destruction.
Cool
