To the CEO/President and new owners of Univ of Phoenix-I am a manager in the Financial Aid Dept at the corporate office and I and another coworker was having lunch off of 32 Street and I overheard an Enrollment Advisor talking to two (2) well dressed Attorneys they were having lunch too. They were talking about pursuing a Civil Lawsuit and suing University of Phoenix. They were discussing if there is an out of court settlement that one of the VP'S of a college be terminated in that agreement if there is no mutual agreement between the two parties beforehand. They were talking about subpoenas and getting evidence. These issues were brought to the attention at the corporate level and they neglected to do nothing about it. They were discussing Enrollment Managers harassing and trying to find reasons to write up and fire Enrollment Advisers. They were serious. They were talking about collecting information/incidents from other Enrollment Advisers. They were talking about using various media sources to get this out to the public if this is not settled by using negative but factual incidents that has happened involving Enrollment Managers. They were talking about an Enrollment Manager threatening an employee after work hours. My girlfriend and I couldn't believe what we were hearing. These incidents seemed to be true to me because they were serious discussing several incidents. My girlfriend and I both agreed when we left that restaurant that if you are approached with this matter you need to take it very serious because it is no joke.

This is true and factual information. I know an Enrollment Advisor that has contacted a law firm over these issues and the same way he was treated. I have actually witnessed where a coworker on my team was harassed by his/our manager on several occasions. I will testify against Univ of Phoenix if I am pulled into court. I don't think it is right. He was the top producer on our team and he was jerked around by our dic---ad manager.

I got harassed by my Enrollment Manager and even was accused of hanging up on students which is ridiculous. I was wrote up for something else different and pressured by the Director to acknowledge this in CWeb..a huge red flag...hire an attorney and count me in on the lawsuit !!! Yes the manager told me to go to the Directors office and he pressured me into acknowledging the write up in his office. I believe Enrollment Managers were told to write up EA's for any reason so they would quit and/or get fired to reduce payroll.

Willing to talk to law firm but not this blog. If youre a real attorney you would have an email or a number where we would be able to discuss our experiences. Like I said, I and many others will tell you the way it works if you offer a real outlet. This website will not help your cause.

Making Regs has always been part of the job requirement for enrollment. Now, if your REG (enrolled student) fails the first class you no longer get credit for the REG. If "too many" of your students fail the first class it is now your responsibility and you will be Written Up to termination. It is policy! You are held liable for your students doing their work. Its ridiculous absolutely insane. As an EC my only tool is to give the student a reminder call to do homework if they do it or not is not in my control so why do I have to pay the price if he or she cant keep up or doesn't want to do the work (buyers remorse). Many students fail on the first try because attending online is never what they pictured in their mind not to mention the caliber of our students is very very poor. They can barely fill out application alone let alone write a non-plagiarized paragraph. (SMH) UOPX is stupid

As an Enrollment Advisor I received a Discussion Memo for a student dropping out in the first or second class and I have almost perfect retention. I did all of my weekly retention calls and the student completed the workshop. I agree I believe they are trying to find any reason to write-up EA's and fire them. We can't legally be held responsible if a student drops out in the first or second class. Period !! Let's purse a Class Action Civil Lawsuit against University of Phoenix !! Period !!
