RLPWFPa-hesy What org? What location? What business unit? Still not buying this. Where are the news articles about this layoff? Still bet its a troll or isolated small target.

I heard. Some groups getting dissolved, req's getting cut. Not sure if it's 3/2 or 3/5. All about wall street profit margins.

WFR=Layoffs: People being pushed out in a double digit growth/5 consecutive quarters of positive earnings. All this with a company that cannot pay sales reps because the company cannot figure out how to gain reporting from resellers/channel/HP Direct.

Whatever happened to GAAP? Sarbanes Oxley act of 2002?

Calling BS on this one. "Layoffs" may not be the correct term. Maybe a handful of obsolete positions but not large scale.

Or do you get walked out immediately?

And today they reported another quarter of double digit revenue growth and earnings. So also not buying it.

Lower Rung meaning Individual Contributors = Sales people at High Salary that manager at their discretion (although being mandated from Top Mngnmt/Finance) need to offer up for cost cutting. Since there is no way to track sales attainment due to failed sales tracking reporting, There is no justifiable stacked ranking in place. So in essence, it comes down to whomever the Manager feels is not pulling weight or has a conflict with.
