Pardon me, but the potential closing of Applebees or ANY business in Sidney is directly related to the sale/clusterf*ck of Cabelas. How can you say it isn't? This whole thing affects the entire town, not just the employees. Weve all endured higher taxes partially to satisfy Cabela's demands for tax breaks & special considerations. We put ALL of our eggs into the Cabela's basket & now we are paying for it...big time.
With hundreds of layoffs and retirements coming to Cabela's...I'm sure their sales will be great.

Have a little compassion for the employees that work paycheck to paycheck and are know sitting on a knifes edge, it would be hard not to panic!

This poster made a huge mistake by attacking a totally innocent party. He knows he did wrong and now he is trying to make it look like it was the closing of the Applebee's nationwide. lets put an end this kind of attack against a totally innocent party and state you r displeasure when you visit Applebee's.
This is a website open to the pubic and I think if a group of people got together and stated their displeasure with the post against Applebee's it may have an effect on this site.

I agree when you go to Appleby's make sure you tell them about what was posted on this site and urged them to take actions to see who posted it.

Applebees did announce that they are closing as many as 160 locations, this in including several IHOPS as they are owned by the same parent company. They do have plans to open more locations, they are simply closing down the locations that don't do as good.
