I heard my VP say today that Sprint may layoff up to 10% of their workforce - retail sales is safe. No one else is safe.

Any insight into how, what teams will be affected in OP and in field?
75 VPs have been given notice. This one is going to affect a lot of people. If they are laying off guys like Tim Donahue, no one is safe.
Rumors everywhere. I doubt any division escapes. If they layed off VP's in retail sales others will follow, maybe not Individual Contributors. I have not heard it would be a very large lay off but who knows, if it is over what is it 500 people then they have to give notice which I have not seen. It is just a shame they modified the severance package.
I heard Sprint campus in Overland Park will lose between 10 - 30% of employees. I hope you're right and your VP was telling you correctly, that it's only 10%
