Sorry to hear about the closing of the Henderson NC warehouse coming soon (timing not clear, maybe summer/fall 2018). New automated picking fc in charlotte is being built out and the Henderson operations will be combined with Charlotte once it is up and running. Hoping the long term employees affected can find something else as that area is pretty remote.

The lab company is looking for lab techs. Not warehouse workers. Doubt they will be much help.
a brand new pharmaceutical company is moving into Henderson paying more than CE/Staples could ever imagine paying for line employees. the displaced will be better off. CE/Staples isn't the only gig in town. Henderson is not that poor like some eastern NC towns. it is still fairly vibrant due to proximity to Durham.
It is located in a poor county with little else to offer. It will be tough on those people.
About time, Henderson,NC was one of the worst locations CE could have put a location, 50 minutes to Raleigh, too much windshield time. Furniture and SDO have already moved to a Durham location.
