People are leaving and many are looking. There are those who are no longer waiting for the lay-off as there is no guarantee of any package, . Company trying to keep things calm with the "business as usual" attitude so as not to incite a mass exodus. Terrible working conditions. Don't ask questions. Sit down, shut up and do your work. Ss&c will take the banked vacation and change it to pto system, You will use it or lose it within the year. Those who have a lot accrued will have to use it.
Funny thing is DST Systems is still hiring.

I actually left in June 2017 with a generous package and spent the summer and part of the fall traveling. Went back to work in the fall after considering multiple offers.
It is not happening next month - they just filed proxy earlier this month. I would think it would happen earlier than mentioned, but there are regulations to follow.
It doesn't matter either way, we're all up the creek without a paddle.

The problem is that the ss&c sale is happening within the month and the DST packages are all over.

If you had left over sick time at the end of 2017 it went into a bank of time that you can only use for leave of absences. With DSTs 100% paid short term, the chances of using it are slim to none. You've already lost it.
If you haven't been better start using your sick time because when your gone so are those hours.

Spotted one of the more disliked rats in the lobby of the company I transitioned to and said rat must be trying to abandon the ship they acted like they were running and will never know that I was the reason they won't be getting a second interview.....KARMA!
