So 300 companies are being political, layoffs instead

During the GEM , DH says there will be NO Trump tax plan related bonus because it’s a political statement . For the record over 300 companies have announced special bonuses, raises or improved health benefits. Even Apple the most liberal, left wing, trump hating company has announced major bonuses and raises to everyone in the company.

So now we know DH is a trump hater worse than apple and a CHEAPO that would have his mother do mattress duty to make a buck while he is doing the bidding of his dark lord EM overlords.

Maybe he is too busy counting his $10million+ bonus and raises he gives himself while everyone should celebrate a 0.05% wage increase.

Shame on the ELT , DH and EM for turning this company into a slave labor pen.

To the @op, Citrix and especially DH will take the “it’s political “ or “lemming mentality “ opposition when it is convenient for him and the company. What he does not want is anything that will reduce his mega fat bonuses every year. Recall that he was getting a special $5 million retention bonus for two years on top of his regular earnings during the MT upheavals. This is a disingenuous leader at the Citrix helm and needs to be called out.

There will be no Citrix bonuses as DH says it is a political statement. However, if you are lucky you will get a layoff package and restart your life in a real company they values its employees. None of this south Florida hillbilly management crap...

Rumor is the executives are giving themselves million dollar bonuses as part of the Trump tax plan benefits. They earmarked all the tax savings into "Retention Bonuses" for the Vice Presidents in Citrix.

This must be the slimiest thing Citrix has done in a while, its on par with the Lehman brothers payouts before the 2008 financial crisis and going bust.

We have to read the 10K filing closely to verify but it would not be surprising DH and the rest of the new ELT are in a mad dash to loot the company as fast as possible.

Agree that DH's response to the question on the GEM was extremely insulting and outright false/ridiculous when you look at the long list of companies "sharing the wealth" with their employees this year. His answer that he treats Elliott Management as "just any other shareholder" was equally insulting. Clearly they're pulling his strings here, and will make sure that not only are there no tax reform bonuses but probably no meaningful raises again this year.

Walmart raised wages and bonuses, along with layoffs the same week. AT&T and some others did the same.
