Does anybody know yet what kind of severance is VMware offering to those laid off?
This does not look like it is nearly done, so it'd be nice to prepare in advance, know what to expect.

If you are in sales, does the two months of severance apply to your total OTE (on target earnings) or your base pay only?
That’s not bad as a severance package. Wished I was picked, I would leave happily with this package

Any confirmation from US employees on severance package details? Big stress point around this.
How long on the payroll after being laid off? From the comments I'm guessing 2 months.
I heard 60 days (during which, stock vesting continues, so if you have a cliff during then, you are good) plus one week for each year of service, cash to pay for COBRA. Also, 60 days takes us to before March 15, and March 31 is when 6 month bonus is paid. Those hit are to be paid a prorated amount.
