too bad as fameman and paleolog both made it sound too good to be true

"FTG Plus transforms what we can do and what we can see from the air," said Jonathan Faiman, chairman of Neos. "Remote sensing is going to dominate the exploration market, and with this sensor Neos will have the most advanced in the world. It will enable us to image resources cleaner, quicker and at a lower cost to our customers."

not entirely sure what it means to IMAGE RESOURCES CLEANER

Paleolog said. "This means we will find more resources, quicker and with more accuracy than ever before. It will be transformative."

paleolog doesnt seem to care about CLEANER

Wonder if NEOS negotiating the CGG/FUGRO merger in bad faith (i.e. never had FUNDS to pay for deal) has come up in bankruptcy proceedings? A full years delay on restructuring due to waiting for Jonathans bunk checks to arrive did not help CGG finances.

Zero. This is old (fake?) news related to the planned takeover of CGG's multi-physics group. The takeover fell through, so the FTG plus technology being developed by LMCO (if they are still working on it) will go to CGG (if they can still pay for it). Right now CGG is in bankruptcy protection and is trying to avoid going under completely...
