I am on notice period now. Once I join, I will share my contact details on last working day @BDC.

Feel free to send your resume. We have lots of opening for engineers not for super techies & brothers.

Nice acronyms. I know some of the folks in BDC storage and trying to place them in context. Really funny that many of us thought that with the firing of the foolhardy director things would change. But looks like the whole circus bandwagon is still live and kicking in this place.

Guys, please use this platform to help (post jobs link) your colleagues to get out of the BDC (Bengaluru Disco Circus). Since more than a year the show "Destination Circus" is going on and showmen are : Super Vain Techies, Senior Joker Managers and last but not the least CCD (Candy Crush Director) and their accomplices.

Any idea what is the next show?

Be careful bro. You have to work a lot in these companies. And as u know in bdc it is just no work fix one big once in six months.

Following are the companies I am targeting and in various stage of interviews for senior Java engineer role:

Qualcomm

Nutanics

Amazon

Please share other companies and details. We know our bdc storage leadership work and culture is crap. I want to be forward looking and jump ship. Let us use this forum creatively instead of venting out frustrations.

I have discussed this already with many collegues in migration team. Reiterating again.. If you want to leave best time is now. Why. Because all companies hire in first quarter and by end of quarter most vacancies will be filled up. Second quarter job openings will be lesser. If you get good reasonable offer just jump. Forget even this stupid bdc storage even Dell storage itself overall is not doing well. I won't be surprised if massive layoffs are planned.

because great companies tolerate mistakes. The codes were screwed and logically the damage control was put in place, so the lost is not big enough for the higher ups to go to the extent of intervening, and obviously BDC management did a good job lobbying for time and bandwidth for mistakes.

Fact: one of ISG « middle-big-wig » is going to Bangalore at the end of january. Definitely smells like layoffs will occur in India at the end of the month ( it occurred every time he was there in the past ).

The racists slur are in really poor taste. Important point is how and when management figures out skeletons in the closet.there are way too many in BDC storage case as the fired director and his cronies have created culture of sycophancy and nepotism of such high degree which is quite unprecedented compared to other EMC Dell teams. The cyclone migration program is a true reflection. As insider report tell of the quackery which taking place. It is quite a management 101 question on how you recognize such program anamolies and take stringent corrective measures.

"I happened to be in a meeting today which just blew my nerves on how unscrupulous these folks are. I wanna quit."

The markets have opened up. If you are a good engineer there are lot of opportunities. And by good engineer I mean not some power point political sycophant faker super techie. But real one who is updated with the latest and hands on. Nutanix and HPE hiring big time. Oracle, Netapp and Cisco also opened up their doors. Knock on these doors if you are competent. Else you can stay here and whine till you get laid off. There is hardly anything you can learn in this fake system.

The two super techies are doing all kinds of fraudulent reporting gymnastics for the migration project which is an utter failure. I happened to be in a meeting today which just blew my nerves on how unscrupulous these folks are. I wanna quit.

Super techies and Phd in mobile candy crush games directors are busy preparing super duper fake presentations to management fooling them in migration project. there is junk code written for this project going on for more than one year by the technically incompetent team. still no one can spot these jokers that shows the overall dysfunction of the system.

I don't think layoff is skill based. so the nervous high levels should not be worried at all.
