What if this is all orchestrated? Maybe the BOD has already told BK that his time is limited, and he cut a deal where he could sell all his shares at or near the peak in exchange for stepping down when the BOD says and take the fall for the better of the Company. Clearly the BOD and MCM knew things were going to go south, what better time to rejuvenate and prop up the stock while the fundamentals continue to wane?
Anyway, that's one theory.
