I wonder if holding on to payroll an extra day accrues interest for them? Maybe a random tactic to make money.

seems to be a serious ongoing issue! unlawful to work and not be paid this kind of ethic is unacceptable! Someone in HR and Payroll need to get their sh** together asap or someone needs to lawyer up
They have gone and sabotage our pay. Don't they know that in the beginning of the month rent and mortgages are due. You changed our pay period and in your first attempt to pay us you f--- up.
