I have to agree......I get it, we need students but the quality is not there. All they have to do is open the door. That is why, we continue to have recurring issues with our student population ( DEM has no idea of this, there motto " get in.....stay away from me"). If we actually "Cared" about our students, then we would seek out true students. for every 100 students = 80% will default, "why" they were never financially prepared from the very beginning ( this is not the blame of financial aid team, but on the student). Out of those 100 students, if they stay in there first pick program, only 30% will graduate. So from 100 only 30, if we are lucky!!! And having student's change program is also hurting the graduation and retention rate. that goes against our school placement for program completion.

instead of pushing the student to enroll in 7 days or less, due to some DEM metric. The additional time to really go over all financial steps, outcome, possible issues for the future. Needs to be address "harder" - during all these investigations, they are ONLY looking at Admissions and Career Services.

Given the ground realities, ,most of campuses/centers will close, only the online mode will survive!

2018 = all of them. The only thing the new guys care about is the online assets.

How many will close in 2018? As many as possible that can be approved for closure. Most are not profitable, so if they could, they would close them ASAP. Screw the poor souls that thought they had a chance of completing a degree. But let’s be honest - the graduation rate is why DeVry is a failure. If you recruit poor quality students, you get poor results.
