Now that the BD-Bard acquisition has settled how long before layoffs begin? Any ex-employees from Carefusion have any comments? My general understanding is that the mass exodus began about 3 months after BD bought Carefusion.

The last 2 years of pension funding and performance are subpar. With the markets the way they are, this isn’t acceptable. Bet this goes the way of the Dodo in a few years

Yes to hc cigna. Yes to 401k match 6%. Yes to pension.
I know this is off topic, but could someone please tell me what BD has for benefits, such as health insurance providers, do you have a 401k and does the company matc,h do you have a company sponsored retirement plan. I am a Bard employee and can't seem to get an answer to this question. My HR says, we don't know that yet. Well, go ask a dam bd employee then. How hard is it for Christ sakes. Such poor communication on both sides. Any info would be appreciated.
Infusion getting hard hit in Uk at the moment. Think it won’t be long as this was due to CME acquisition in UK. Took record short time from finalisation. Heard mid January. For next layoffs but could be 3-6 months. They are ruthless.
Some top execs at Bard will leave happy with very fat paychecks in a few months. It will take about a year to dump the worker bees. Severance packages should be decent.
Heard the date 1/26. Execs are acting like its around the corner too with making themselves scarce and meeting. We were told Jan. And March so its soon.
