It seems that Sears is starting 2018 with a bang - 45 Kmart and 18 Sears stores will be closing in January. We are in a lot of trouble if this is just a preview of what's to come for the rest of the year...

Hey that's really close to the "rumors" that 60 stores were going to close in the beginning of the year. We all know that those rumors are just started by people trying to short the stock. /s
There's chatter that another round of closures is about to drop. 60-80 stores (Kmart + Sears) is the range I heard. Usually, they run roughly a 2:1 ratio with Kmart vs Sears closures.
